THOMAS DAWES
C.E.O.


After completing an Honours degree in manufacturing engineering at the University of Liverpool, he undertook a two-year Teaching Company Scheme to improve production planning and supply chain management at an aerospace SME, whilst studying for a PhD. His research focused on best practice e-business models to support cluster development in the Aerospace supply chain. He worked in a consultancy capacity with Airbus UK for two years and Westland Helicopters for three years to develop leading-edge supply chain management portals.

He was recently voted Merseyside Young Entrepreneur 2004, New Business Talent and North West Regional Impact Winner and is a GME-approved and SBS-approved consultant, providing support to a range of aerospace SME’s.
PROFESSOR DENNIS KEHOE
DIRECTOR


Appointed as the Saxby Professor of e-Business and the Royal Academy of Engineering Research Professor of Innovative Manufacturing. He is currently Director of the e-Business Research (e-BRC) and AiMeS Centres at the University of Liverpool.
Professor Kehoe has acted as a consultant to a range of manufacturing companies including Cross Huller (part of the Thyssen Group), Ford Motor Company, Airbus, Associated British Foods, Castrol and Cadbury’s. He is a non executive director of Merit Ltd. the UK's foremost Information & Communication Technology (ICT) user group and was seconded to the Viasystems Group, Europe’s largest manufacturer of PCBs, to develop business improvement strategies. Previously he was head of manufacturing at BICC Connolly’s and a Director of Norewire Developments Ltd.

He has a first class honours degree from Imperial College London and a PhD from the University of Liverpool.
BRIAN McCAUL
DIRECTOR


He is past Chairman of the Association for University Research and Industry Links (AURIL), the network of professionals dedicated to the development of partnerships between higher education and industry in order to support innovation and competitiveness.
By professional background Brian is a Chartered company secretary (and acts as the AURIL company secretary).

He holds, advanced legal certificates in Intellectual Property Law and Company Law, from the University of Bristol, and is currently completing a Master in Law.
PHIL WILBUR
NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


17 years experience as a senior director, chairman, consultant, mentor and interim manager with financial, commercial and production experience. He is a specialist in strategy, change management and business improvement and has worked with several aerospace SME’s over the past 5 years. He has a degree in Accounting and Finance and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
TONY OLIVER
QUALITY CONSULTANT


Over 15 years experience as a senior quality director and quality consultant specialising in attaining OEM and CAA approvals.
ALAN BOLD
GENERAL MANAGER


He has over 20 years management experience in the aerospace coatings industry and has been responsible for the developing relationships with key customer accounts.
BRIAN GLOVER
PROJECT MANAGER


An aerospace engineer with 25 years of experience working for BAe Systems, GKN and several aerospace MRO’s as a senior project manager.
DR ASANTE BREMANG
TECHNICAL MANAGER


He has a PhD in supply chain management e-business systems and has worked in the automotive and aerospace industries developing portal solutions for Jaguar, Delphi, Airbus and Westland Helicopters.
