Winning Young Achievers Announced at Charity Awards
The winners of the NCH Merseyside and Cheshire Young Achievers Awards 2004 were held at Liverpool's Holiday Inn.
The awards, which celebrate the achievement of the region's outstanding children and young people, were hosted by television presenter Esther McVey and attended by people from throughout the local community including the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Liverpool.
Tom Dawes (28) won Achievement in Management and Enterprise (sponsored by Grosvenor). Tom studied engineering at the University of Liverpool and launched his company Aerogistics with the help of Business Link in August 2003.
Tom's company works with North West blue chip companies to provide a world-class one-stop shop service to the aerospace industry. The company employs 13 people.
