University of Liverpool Business Plan Competition
The competition was open to all staff and students of the University. Entrants were invited to submit a short business plan describing an original and innovative business idea, and were supported in their business planning by a series of enterprise events with local business practitioners, and by personal coaching from the ULSEC team and local business mentors.
Joint second prize was awarded to Tom Dawes, PhD researcher with the e-Business Research Centre, for ‘Aerogistics Ltd’, an aerospace supply chain management company, and Adrian Walsh, research technician in Human anatomy and Cell Biology, for ‘A Bio- Particle Production Facility with Research and Development Services’.
